Weekend Update 7-31-20

Dear M100 Family,

Hope this email finds  you well and staying safe!  In an effort to make my emails more “reader friendly”, I am trying out this new format.  I will put the intended audience to the left of the subject line of each new announcement.  ALL= for everyone - brass, woodwind, percussion, and colorguard.  ALL members of the M100. I have included links to documents & websites so this email is not so long.

Please continue to check your email and the band website for all the latest updates.

Beltonmarching100.com.

For Band Booster questions, please contact Sharon Cobb - sharon.cobb@bisd.net.

Si necesita hablar con alguien en español, envíeme un correo electrónico a jbiggs0106@yahoo.com.  (Jasmine Biggs)

ALL - Everything Day Tomorrow

Please search your inbox for the email from our Charms system -Sharon Cobb, Band Booster President, entitled “EVERYTHING DAY TOMORROW!”.  Sent on 7/31 at 11:04am.  Read it all please as there is very important information about tomorrow and Monday.  Thanks!

ALL - Trouble Logging into Charms?

View this 5 minute tutorial:  https://youtu.be/41ZvJC0FNNc

ALL - Band Forms

Fill them out, scan and email to Shannon.gill@bisd.net.

If you can’t print and scan and need a hardcopy, I will have some at the band hall on Monday, Aug. 3 from 9am-4pm.  Come on by.  Return completed forms as soon as you can please.  Thanks!

ALL - Letter Jackets

Letter jacket packets (blank) were available this past week Mon.-Thurs. In the front foyer of the school for pick up.

Return the filled out packets on Monday, August 3rd to the BHS front office between the hours of 8am and 4pm.

If you missed getting a packet - come by the band hall and pick one up.  I will be there between 9am and 4pm on 8/3/10.  Please return it to the band hall as soon as possible.

***CHANGE**** - Just received this email from the jacket co. yesterday:

Please look at the jacket sizing chart that’s attached (see email-7/31) and use this one in place of the one that is in your current packet. We believe that this is the best chance for us to get a jacket that fits to the students. The one we were using before had a back measurement that was making getting an accurate size almost impossible. The SSR video is being adjusted today to reflect the new chart.

PLEASE SEE ATTACHMENT TO THIS EMAIL FOR THE NEW SIZING CHART.

ALL - Summer Band Safety Protocols - BHS Band.

Please read to understand how we are working to keep your child safe while at camp.  This document will be updated if/when protocols change throughout the summer.
