Dear M100 Family,
Congratulations to the freshmen who participated or placed in yesterday's All-Region Auditions! As we mentioned last week, we appreciate the effort that each student has put into the development of their individual musicianship! The Marching 100 is better because of your efforts, and we have a full semester of high-level music making in front of us! Let’s finish out the semester strong as we head into our winter break!

The Band Website: https://www.beltonmarching100.com/solo-ensemble-sign-up
A couple reminders:

Wind Symphony will select, rehearse, and perform a Solo
Symphonic Band will select, rehearse, and perform a Solo
Steps to Select a Solo
Look through the Filing Cabinet for Solos that we already have.
Find professional recordings and listen through the music while following along.
Critically listen, and decide whether or not you: 1) like the piece of music; 2) if you are capable of performing it with the amount of practice time that you have; 3) you believe you will grow as a musician from practicing and performing it.
Look up on the UIL Prescribed Music List (PML) to make sure that the piece is approved. https://www.uiltexas.org/pml/
Double-Check the PML and make sure that composer, arranger, and publisher are correct.
Fill out this Form :)
Put the music back!
