Congratulations on a successful first week of summer band! Also, thank you to everyone who helped make Everything Day a success! Now that we are through the first week, it’s time to start picking up the page and learning even more to prepare for our season! Let’s have an awesome week 2 of summer band!

8/1 PHYSICAL FORMS DUE
Physical forms for UIL participation are due on Friday, August 1st.
- ALL FRESHMEN AND JUNIORS – Physical and Medical History forms are both needed
- ALL SOPHOMORES AND SENIORS – Only Medical History forms are needed
2025 M100 SUMMER BAND SCHEDULE
For tomorrow, Monday, July 28, we will NOT need instruments for the outside rehearsal. We WILL need instruments for the afternoon block inside. We will start using instruments outside in the morning on Tuesday, July 29.
Items Needed for Summer Band:
Marching Attire
- Tennis shoes (ABSOLUTELY NO SANDALS, CROCS, ETC)
- T-shirt, dri-fit shirt or similar athletic wear
- Athletic shorts (school appropriate length)
Instrument
Music
Water jug/bottle
Hat/sunglasses (for outdoor rehearsals)
Below is an excerpt from the Belton ISD Parent and Student Handbook regarding student dress code. These guidelines are applicable to all students during summer band.
*Student Dress Standards *
● Hair color or style may not cause a disruption to the learning environment.
● Shorts, dresses, and skirts must be at least mid-thigh in length.
● Holes or slits in garments must be located below mid-thigh.
● Pants, jeans, and shorts must be worn at the waist, i.e. no sagging.
● Tank top straps should be at least the width of a student ID.
Students may not wear:
● Sleepwear such as pajamas and/or slippers.
● Sunglasses in the building.
● Bandeaus, spaghetti straps, halter tops, sleeveless undershirts, or sheer clothing.
● Tops which expose the midriff or are excessively low cut.
● Clothing or accessories which indicate gang affiliation, or could be construed to be gang related.
● Oversized or bulky coats or jackets, or full-length coats or jackets like trench coats or dusters.
● Sheer or see-through clothing.
